Another Good-bye

In keeping with my last post, I have another Teacher card to share with you.
I create this card based on the Mojo Monday sketch challenge
I liked this sketch and it gave me inspiration for a little keepsake. Mrs Redgrave taught all three of my children over the years and so I needed something a little different. Although she is originally from Wales she has a fear of sheep. Not a complete phobia but a definately hatred. (poor sheep)
So without further ado:

I know....you are wondering what is so special, well I did say she hated sheep, but she has always had a great sense of humour:

Oops, a little blurry. But even she loved this little guy.

  • Card - SU daffodil delight, pink piroette, pretty in pink and certainly celery
  • Stamps - compact sentiments, lil buddies and florentine frippery

Good-bye teacher

This has been a rather emotional week, but in keeping with tradition I dutifully made cards for Mawgans teachers.
This first card had been for the CR84FN colour challenge,

but unfortunately I didn't make the deadline. DOH!!!

He really hates glitter, so to be fair (fairish..lol), I used stickles to give highlight to the wheel-arches and windscreen.
But to make him squirm a little bit more, I added it to the stars inside.....

Mawgan said the look on his face when he spotted glittery bit was worth a million shooting stars.

  • Cards - SU cherry cobbler, daffodil delight and real red
  • Stamps - WMS Half-Pint Heros and Halp-Pint Heroines
  • Promarkers and a fine-line pen
  • Crystal Stickles
It was a joy to make

Bye for now

Wedding invite

I have promised to put this up for a while...so here it is, my daughter's wedding invitations

Not the easiest stamping....I only had an SU spot ink pad and anyone who owns this lovely WM stamp set knows that flourish is rather large. I still manage to make 50 wedding and 60 evening invites using the tiny pad. I then used a clear sakura stardust pen to add a little sparkle. The wording is blue embossing ink with clear gloss embossing powder.
I still can't believe I did this lot without calling in the reinforcements.....

At least it will be another decade before the youngest needs invitations...  :-)

Good night

Anne's Card

I know it has been a while since I posted, but as most of you are aware life can be hectic.

Tonight I bring you my daughter Anne's birthday card. I truly enjoyed making this one with the fabulous WMS stamp set "Little Heroines"

She says she will keep it always.........
Even at 22yrs old and a bit of a metal-head, she still likes cute cards from mum... :)
